All the ridiculous little "mini video" Signatures make it impossible to even scroll past your post until it finishes loading - just annoying as hell - it slows every page you are on down to a crawl. I am sure as hell glad I don't have a Dial-Up connection - this site would be rendered useless with a slow connection thanks to all those lame sigs.....

You can specify options in your control panel to turn off signatures and avatars.

Just shut off the sig graphics. The avatars don't slow you down at all.
