I do admit, it did kind of sound like Floyd don't have any interest in fighting Mosley. Is it because of the money? Is it because he's scared? I don't know.

What I do know is, at his level his options are diminishing. He either MUST fight a top, legitimate WW or retire. If he is fighting for the money, he will soon find his audience, and HBO, bailing out on him if he does not take on legitimate opponents.

I hope his passive attitude towards Mosley in the Lampley interview was just because he knows Shane's getting old and he wants to fight younger guys who will bring him bigger paychecks. We will soon see.

what arum should do is refuse to make pbf vs any of his fighters... then floyd will have no other option, as HBO will not let him fight anyone else.

Floyd knows shane looking for a payday and also there`s a bigger money fight with the Pacquiao/Cotto winner.Shane has to get in line cause Floyd is going for the bigger money fight first. And like Floyd said,Shane had his chance numerous times and he turned it down.Floyd is not going to wait around when fighters are ready to fight him when he has other options.

Maybe he doesnt want to line Mosely's pockets after he tried to punk him. Make no mistake Mosely just wants to get paid thats why he wants four fights in 2010. Mosely is trying to make as much money as he can, he doesnt care if he has to fight Pac or Mayweather so throw that number#1 WW excuse he quotes out the window. Mosely didnt make this much noise about a Mayweather until Jin took half his ****!

I would love to see this fight but if Mayweather decides to fight Cotto or Pac I wont be mad.

if arum stops pbf and pac from fightin pbf, then hbo should give pbf no choice but the fight mosley. he can't duck mosley forever.

Fighters at the elite level today just don't care about fighting the best like they used to...Floyd shouldn't even care about Mosley getting paid, it's not like he's paying Mosley himself, and he would also be paid so to me that's bull****. I don't think he would have even come back if it weren't for his financial troubles and people forgetting about him so easily. My point is that he should fight Mosley and anyone else that the boxing media deems a possible threat to Floyd including Paul Williams if he really cares about his legacy. Personally I think he's just in it for the money and will never fight Mosley or Williams.
