Like @ whirlout said," That's pretty much Crawford's career in a nutshell." Call out (insert top fighters name here get fight hyped and his name in the fight media then fight subpar fighter, rinse and repeat)

Mandated my a$$! Why doesn't Crawford just abandon a belt if need be, and wait for the winner between Spence and Thurman? While I believe Thurman will not be an easy win, I believe Spence will win nevertheless.

Why doesn't Crawford just wait for Spence? Perhaps bulk up in the meantime, just in case a catch weight fight will be necessary?

Why doesn't Crawford do that? Why, huh? Why?

Friends we have seen bigger upsets than this. Would I pick Rocha to beat Bud on 50/50 odds? Hello no. But, the fact is Rocha is 25 years old, has reach and height, has a boxing IQ. Javier Benavidez gave Bud some good rounds with similar type tools.

I'm just sayin', it shows how corrupt the sanctioning bodies are! They seem to wait for the promoters to tell them what to do, and when!

Exactly, there's the sanctioning bodies to the rescue, that's why Crawford ends up with the least risky contenders damn near every fight. But we're supposed to cover our eyes and declare his greatness. Its corruption at its finest, and BoMac's not even hiding it, he's telling everyone that Rocha is a sparring partner. And what exactly was Avanesyen???

it's good to stay sharp by fighting. He also gets paid. Finally, his belt is the one thing that Spence wants.

The comments are a little out of context. If you watch the video interview you'll see the comments were in anticipation to a Spence fight. Meaning, if the Spence fight doesn't happen next and they fight Rocha instead, he will be good preparation for a future match up with Spence down the line. BoMac also said whoever Crawford fights in the summer will receive an ass whopping, not specific to Rocha only.
