How a fighter can be backing up through the course of a fight and still win rounds, as long as they land clean effective punches, exhibit good defense, display effective agression and yes, control the ring. You CAN be backing up and exhibit ring generalship, as long as you dictate the exhanges and determine where and when exchanges take place throughout the course of rounds.
