Arreola was unable to throw punches, and unable to be effective with a high quality heavyweight.
His weight and conditioning are serious issues for his future fights.
But I agree, he showed heart and displayed the ability to be a HW champ in the future.

Lampley was on the money. He needs to take his career seriously. He was only "in shape" for this fight relative to the abysmal shape he's been in most of his professional life. If he isn't around 220 (or even lower; it doesn't look like there's much muscle on that frame, especially in his legs) for his next fight, it'll be pretty hard to care about what happens to him.

you could see in the fight the pressure was getting to vitali at times..i think arreola proved that hes a top ten heavyweight by staying in there as long as he did and got off some good shots here and there..god bless him. he rightfully got emotional, and he never quit his trainer told the referee to stop it. true warrior. i am now one of chris's official fans, and my respect for vitali grew a little bit more.
