Thats the dumbest thing Ive heard. Dude is maybe the best Defensive fighter of all time but yet all he can think about is Mosley catching him one time and thats scaring him to not fight? Surely you have something better then that. IDK what is so hard for people to understand about this stuff. Its all common sense. Floyd did truly try to fight Shane in 99 but Shane had other things on his plate. Floyd did genuinely try to fight Shane in 06 but again Shane had something on his plate. Now Shane wants Floyd but why should Floyd jump to fight him when he can make much bigger money with a Pac fight. Again, I beleive that Floyd without a doubt wants to fight Shane.

There is no doubt in my mind about it but he would be a fool to fight Shane before JMM & Pac. How does that make sense? What, just because fans want it that way? Well thats not how **** works. Its no different then Mosley skipping over Williams to try to get a Pac or Floyd fight. Now he's skipping over Clottey to fight Berto. Shane is a warrior and isnt scared to fight Williams. I beleive he truly wants to fight him but he's not dumb enough to fight him before he can get the big money fight with Pac or Floyd. Thats the same thing Floyd is doing. He wants to fight Shane bad but he's not dumb enough to fight Shane before he fights JMM & Pac. It wouldnt make sense to do that wether the haterz want to admit it and call the guy a ***** or not.

People really are drinking the Mosely kool-aid, he aint the hardest fight for Mayweather, Cotto is. Cotto was able to take away Mosely's speed with great timing in addtion to somequick hand speed og his own. Mayweather can do the same thing!

The true test is Cotto, once he's done with Pac. I think Mayweather wins but only if he can prevent Cotto from punching him in the balls once he gets frustrated and doesnt make any mental errors in the early rounds. After round 6/7 Cotto will began to fade and Mayweather will take over.

I wanna see a Mosely fight to, i just dont think Mayweather will get any credit for it. Last I checked Cotto beat Mosely, why dont you think he can handle Mayweather. If Mosely hadnt of beaten Margarito who came straight forward and had very little defense, then we wouldnt even be talking about him. Mosely cant beat a good boxer at this stage of his career, Cotto already proved that.

he won't get credit against anyone, so he might as well fight mosley and get it out of the way.

Last I checked Cotto beat Mosely,

he got a decision in MSG.

The reality of the Cotto-Mosley fight was a very close fight. Cotto fought his best to get that win and even though he put some good leather on Mosley Cotto took some big shots to do it. I know Mayweather will fight a different fight against Mosley but Shane has the right kind of overhand looping right to land on Mayweather. He is a fierce body puncher a cast iron chin and is relentless. Mosley is also a big strong welter and willing to clinch hold and wrestle to gain an advantage. Bottom line Mosley is a financial threat for Floyd. The mega that pays big $$$$$ is the pac fight. Floyd would be an idiot to not at least wait and see the results of Cotto vs Pac.

The thing is Margo fought Williams, Clottey, Cintron, and Cotto. They all had problems with Margo. But when Mosley KO's a fighter with one of the best chins I've ever seen. The victory is now overrated. If Margo style was so easy to beat. How come he was a problem against everyone besides Mosley?

Personally I don't believe Cotto is the same fighter like he was when he fought Shane. **** he almost lost that fight. That should tell you how Shane is as fighter. Cotto dominated every fighter he fought. But he couldn't dominate Shane. But I really believe that the Margo fight took a lot out of Cotto. The perfect time for a Floyd vs Cotto fight would've been in 2008. He was coming of that Shane win and Floyd was going off the Hatton win. Cotto was undefeated and was a beast.

Cause Margo was caught loading his gloves right before the Mosely fight! Do you really think that was the first time they ever tried that ****? They had the process down to a science, just didnt count on Mosely's trainer catching it. No one ever said Mosely didnt have impressive KO power, but when you stand infront of him like Margo you make it alittle easier, remember he couldnt KO Mayorga until the last round because Mayorga made him work for it with his crazy style.

The Cotto/Mosely fight was close, neither fighter lost any respect in my eyes. But Cotto won and should he could handle a fighter with speed. Cotto has he best shot and is a win/win for Mayweather

I believe floyd beats shane
