I called this, was always gonna happen when Shalom got the Sky deal. He’s doing to Hearn what Hearn did to Warren and what Warren did to Duff. It’s like the circle of life of British boxing.

Shalom seems to be delivering better for these guys, too. CBS is getting a title shot. Made Shields-Marshall, Jonas got 3 titles. Even Babic is getting his title shot on Sky. Buatsi vs Azeez is a way better fight than Bivol-Buatsi.

Sky is simply the place to be for British boxers.

I actually think Shalom is pretty clueless tbh, he’s definitely learning on the job but so was Hearn back in 2011 when he first got the Sky deal. With Sky’s backing you can’t really fail in the UK as they completely dominate the mass media industry and further domination the Sports broadcasting sector.

Really like the Buatsi-Azeez fight, I think they might pair it with Okolie vs Riakporhe.
