How does beating Collazo & Margarito make you the #1 WW?...

Shane is trying to cut in line. He disses Mayweather for fighting Marquez and wanting to fight Pacquiao but then he says he wants to fight Pacquiao and claims that Pacquiao is ducking him.. Cotto is the #1 WW (Why does Shane downplay that loss like it never happened?) and Mayweather without a doubt should fight the winner of Pac-Cotto. Shane Mosley should go fight Berto or Clottey and stay active because waiting around for Pac & May will backfire because he will have no negotiating angle, especially vs Pac or Mayweather.

How the **** is Cotto the #1 welter?!? I'm a Cotto fan, but have you seen this guy's last several fights? Cotto was awarded the official decision in his fight against Shane. That fight was razor thin either way you scored it. I happened to score it for Shane. Shane went on to decisively beat the guy who KO'd Cotto. Cotto goes on to beat Jennings and then gets lucky against he game, but ultimately B-level Clottey. Shane is the top WW.

shane can't beat floyd.he can't.floyd is not plastercheato.the only fighters i see beating floyd at the moment are cotto or pacquiao.

Cotto or Pacquiao couldn't beat Floyd-they both have too many flaws for Floyd to exploit.I wouldn't even give them a punchers chance.

This is a wait and see game. Mayweather most probably fight Pac if he wins against Cotto. If Cotto wins, he may or may not fight him. Let say if he fights the winner of Cotto vs Pacquiao and wins. That will leave him no option other than to Fight Shane. Then the question will be answered if he really wants to fight him or avoiding him.

I just don't understand some posters on here. I'm a huge fan of Floyd and Shane. But more importantly I'm a fan of the sport. I always want to see the best fight the best. Floyd doesn't pay my bills at all. Cotto isn't the same fighter and a fight between him and Cotto should've happen in 2008 after he beat Hatton. But now he is trying to get his confidence back. I don't even believe Pac can even compete with Floyd. That's a mismatch waiting to happen. Shane is coming of an dominate victory and Floyd coming off a sparring session. Roger Mayweather has said that Shane is the only fighter that can compete with Floyd skill for skill. But his hardcore fans act like it will be so easy. Let the **** happen and let's see if it would be an easy victory for Floyd

i cant agree with u more other than him fighting cotto after hatton. cotto had no name then! i wanna see this fight more than anything!! pbf will destroy ******* and if anyone thinks differently they r ******ed!! i love floyd more than any other boxer but i will be very disappointed if he doesnt face cotto or sugar. he has a contract for 4 more fights with gbp so im counting on it happening!!
