Feels like most of the Mexican fanbase would love to see Canelo fight Benavidez. Will he deliver that for his people?
Will Benevidez get the upcoming work done? And if he does, can he keep his socks and pants up as a professional? I'd like to see Canelo take on the weight bully also, but it occurs to me that outside of a lite resume, the self-arresting Benevidez has much trouble holding onto his titles due to the man in the mirror.

I think Plant has a good chance on points tbh, I think Benavidez is overrated. Good 50/50 fight.

However, Canelo-Benavidez is the fight people want to see at 168 so for the sake of the division I hope Benavidez gets the W.

I agree with all of your points. I see Canelo's reasoning for not facing Benevidez however I do disagree with it. I too would like to see he and Benevidez clash.

Canelo will never risk losing the Mexican/Latino fanbase. He had a similar stance on Zurdo.

I think they’re both very winnable fights for Canelo but he isn’t gonna take what he sees as an unnecessary risk.

And you may be right. On the other hand I'd like to see any jackass with a punk big mouth and Organ Grinder/Flying Monkey-type actually earn his stripes and have to take the long hard flight of stairs up to the top floor. Given all of their verbal ************, it should be no problem for them to ascend such a route, except maybe for the lack of activity, being shot at, stabbed or whatever other **** grown men can't think objectively enough to easily avoid. etc etc.
