Don't forget that people fill malls, streets just to see a popular artist or even UK royals talk and walk for 15min. It's like apple watches etc. It's about the brand and with boxing events like these becomes an event that even non fans plan outings, meals parties around. With shady promoters and sanctioning bodies, why expect boxers to be socialist or to leave $ on the table. No guarantees in boxing, look at the kid who sold his title shot vs Spence or worse..those who never went home.
