Without history or context, it’s easy for the casual fan to believe what you wrote.
When Fury was contemplating a 2nd and then a 3rd fight with Wilder, this platform was on fire assuring all and sundry that Fury was NEVER going to get in the ring with Wilder. 2nd fight happened and Wilder was destroyed. FYI, I bet on Wilder to KO Fury (that’s how convinced I was).
Same accusations continued before the trilogy. Fury showed up again and destroyed Wilder.
I reached out to a few people specifically after the 3rd fight and they all disappeared. I’ve been checked a few times on this platform and I’ve owned my misconceptions or wrong analogy. So I have to ask, when Fury KO’s Usyk, will you eat humble pie?
I’m always rooting for the underdog or the better man so I’d like to see Usyk topple Fury but I highly doubt that it will happen.
I always said I would give Fury 100% respect when he fights a top fighter every fight. He hasn't even come close to that. In fact he's running in the opposite directionComment

I want to ask - will you eat humble pie now? Or do you still have more excuses why this fight didn't happen?

Bro, I do not run away from my stands when I am wrong. below is what I wrote in the quote above
(I’ve been checked a few times on this platform and I’ve owned my misconceptions or wrong analogy.)
Thank you for checking me. I will eat humble pie. I have no idea why Fury behaves the way he does. He’s clearly a good boxer with the biggest size advantage against anyone so other than his mental health issues, I am clueless to his reasons.Comment

I just think Fury has always been like that - risk averse - from when he blatantly avoided Price in the early days (Price beat Fury in the amateurs). He beat an old Wlad and then ran from the contracted rematch after saying Wlad would be too scared to take the rematch in interview after interview. He then took PEDs and had 2 year drug ban. Last seven years he has only fought 2 top-10 guys (Wilder and Whyte). Both are good fighters but neither are very skillful boxesr and we know Fury said his toughest fight was against Cunningham. Who he said "He was the best guy I ever fought. I could do nothing with him" on Joe Rogan. And Usyk is another Crusierweight coming up to HW but one who is a lot better than Cunnigham. So I think that is your answer.Comment

I'm impressed you can remember what you said in the past! I have almost no idea what I said on here.

I am not arguing against you anymore. What you say is 100% accurate.
I’d favor Fury to beat anyone but I cannot defend his attitude and zero effort in making fights he can make.
Hopefully he does not “retire”. As long as he’s active, he is going to be backed into a corner where he has fight eventually.Comment

I want him to retire. He is just wasting out time. I think he's hoping Usyk loses or gets his title removed. Hard to see Usyk wanting to be active in HW division for long. It's always a risk for a smaller guy. Fury probably waiting until a lesser fighter gets a belt.
Do you think he elected not to fight Usyk so he could fight AJ? The huge money factor could be the reason.
A loss to Usyk could dent the biggest fight the UK has ever had. They would still make lots of money but it wouldn’t be as intriguing.

I just think Fury is scared. Has been his whole career - took PEDs. Makes a lot of noise and does very little. People think he was brave because he fought Wilder but before the Wilder fight he was 100% confident Wilder was a terrible boxer (a windmiller!) and couldn't hit him. He said it all the time. Wilder hit him a lot and put him down 4 times.Comment
