I don't mind either way how this fight plays out but I could see Fury being too big for Usyk. I'm super glad its actually coming through though.

So of that '8 weeks' training, I'm guessing that's 4 weeks of dossing and eating pies, 2 weeks of training and 2 weeks of eating 'Wild Boar' meat. What an athlete! What a legend! What a legacy!

I certainly wouldn't bet against Fury in this fight but I recall him having much more trouble with smaller fighters than the bigger ones. Go watch Otto Wallin and Steve Cunningham fights. He won but had to pull them out and Usyk is one of the better smaller heavyweights in modern times. This could get interesting.

Im expecting a pull out from fury, he tried to price himself out, got backed into a corner after usyk called his bluff. He will want a full 10-12 week camp for usyk.

I think he was looking to fight someone like ngannu or andy ruiz in apriinbefore he was put under pressure

Always training! Have you seen his shape between fights.

I stated during this negotiation period, that Tyson Fury would be content with a 6 week training camp. He has stated in the past that, if he has been doing basic training before the start of the actual training camp 'Then 6 weeks is all he needs specifically'.

Now I personally think at top-level a 6 weeks training camp is not optimal time. For a team to devise and strategize a targeted training camp.

I do believe this is a slight opportunistic tactic Fury has used. And Fury probably was always going to apply 'Full well knowing the work ethic of Usyk, most of the time demands more time to train and develop a targeted goal oriented training camp'.

Usyk for me has just got to deal with this. Like the way people complained of how sometimes the Kiltschko's reigned as Champions, Tyson Fury for me is miles worst.

The Kiltschko's were straight up during negotiations and gave their opponents optimal time to prepare training camps. Was Tyson Fury offered his fight with Wladimir Kiltschko less than 2 months out from the fight? No.

This is a common tactic i.e offering the fight to his nearest competition at short notice. This tactic is used when he thinks they are a genuine threat 'That is how I decode this type of behavior'.

So it is clear to me, regardless of what the boxing fans think or what narratives they attempt to create and promote 'Anthony Joshua & Usyk threaten Tyson Fury'.

I would not be surprised if Usyk wanted more time to prepare for this fight, for then Tyson Fury to disagree with these terms.

This is a definitive opportunistic tactic being used by Fury. His hardcore fans will know this deep down, but they will not admit it 'They will carry on betraying themselves'.

I don't think that is enough time for a top elite professional boxer to prepared for a Undisputed title fight 'Although I believe Fury will be content with that duration of training camp'.

The fight deal needs to be made real soon, and maybe the fight date altered.

Note: I can once again envision Fury suddenly agreeing to all of Usyk's terms closer to he fight date they had planned. Fury will do this full well knowing Usyk, prefers to be well prepared for all of his fights.

Usyk & Fury will only have approximately a 6-7 week training block because 'The last week of training is all about tampering down'.

None of this is the correct and professional way to stage the first Undisputed Heavyweight title fight for over 20 years.

This fight if it was going ahead on its planned date, should of been completely agreed upon 1 month ago.

That way tactically both camps can devise a strategy and go through the training process 'Prepare and select Training-Sparring partners'. We all know that at Elite level 6 weeks is not a optimal fight preparation duration 'Especially when both fighters have no idea who their next opponent is'.

But I am aware that Tyson Fury is content with a 6 week training camp, which is not really a criticism towards him 'It is just that he has spoken about such area's of the game in interviews'.
