The unspoken truth is that these rules only catch the small fish. There is ample evidence that the owner of the New York Mets made his fortune on insider trading…but only those beneath him fell.

Yeah man. I will always root against the Mets along as he is the owner. PBS Frontline has a good documentary on sketchy Steve Cohen.

Have you watched the documentary Inside Job (narrated by Matt Damon)?
If you have not, I highly highly recommend you watch it AND be sure to pay attention to ALL the bank executives, hedge fund managers, SEC and Treasury department officials including financial advisers from NYU as well as credit rating agencies like Moody’s etc.
I am not going to state the obvious but you can connect the dots.
