Many say they are not GGG fans, yet, would be hard pressed to find that so called non fan saying anything NEGATIVE about the chump.

So called fight fans take shots at Nelo at every chance.
As if no other boxer even exists
As if Nelo invented the tune up
As if it's every day fighters are moving up and taking risks

Many, maybe not you, consider(s)ed GGG to be the the best MW since Hagler
I countered that by saying Fielding, who many say is D level at best, would whoop on those PRIME GGG beat.

Not much else to say about this topic.

I'll say Jones jr was the best MW after Hagler and then Hopkins, ggg doesn't have quality wins for me, jacobs, even canelo 1. He fought too many unknowns.

        Biv beat Nelo
        Buster beat Mike
        Mayorga beat Vernon
        Andy beat AJ
        HORN beat* Pac
        Rahman beat Lennox
        Ali beat Foreman
        Baldomir beat Zab and Gatti
        .....to name a few

        IOW, shlt happens
Only difference is Nelo is the only one on the list who moved way up

If you're criticizing Nelo now, I'd hate to think about him fighting guys GGG fought.

''Too many unknowns'' is putting it nicely.

Chances of Biv moving up is......

zero chance of moving up. Doesn't have the frame to put up another 25 pounds of fighting machine, he might be able to come down to 168, up, I don't see it. I think greatness in the boxing world is not moving up or down, is about who you face in equal terms. Pacquio moved up in weight and faced the best those division has to offer, he won some and loss some. But almost all of them are HOF. Mantequilla Napoles have to move up without winning a title because the champs at 135/140 didn't want to face him, most notable Carlos Ortiz. So when he got to WW the champs there fought him and loss their belt.

hes a good fighter but a lot of that canelo fight was about canelo being a lot worse than people think he is... put him in with most champs in their prime and thats what would happen

I agreed 100% with you. To me canelo is the classic marketing idol, good looks, can fight, but elite skils? No. Remember who brought him up, Oscar Delahoya, good looks, could fight and was an elite fighter. But he didn't match up his pupil as tough as they did with him. The matchmaking was superb, he only put him against a good fighter when he thought Mayweather was retiring, and he was 35 at that time. Then aftet that loss he faced Lara, that confirmed the non-elite skills.

I think actually searching out, not fake promising, other ''challenges'' trumps staying put in a dead div (HWs are exempt. Those fat bodies ain't about to move down).
While the bigger guy may not be the best in that higher div, the mission is on.

I'm not a Pac fan so I won't comment on his resume (there's a 1st time for most things).

Nelo haters counting down the days until he reaches 40 -

''See, I knew it ! Nelo never fought a HW champ ! What a loser ''

Has nothing to do with Biv

According unbiased ''fight'' fans, GGG is the best MW since Hagler.
So, when GGG was 32, he built that false reputation fighting bums.

Nelo at 32 is taking serious risks and is mocked.

GGG was praised (and still is )

Biv will get my attention when he moves up.
This thread isn’t about ggg. It’s about Bivol. Try to keep up, read slowly if you need to.

It’s kinda strange, Oscar doesn’t match any of his fighters up with tough opponents.

Haters hate it when I compare the 2

Those same goofballz said Biv was a cherry
Now he's a ''freak of nature''
I point out how feeble GGG's ''career'' was when he was 32
GGG, the most relevant MW, @ 32, would never have stepped to such a ''cherry'' like Biv.

I highly doubt anyone here can post a comment hyping Biv PRIOR to his fight with Nelo

                      Comprende ?
