  • Comments Thread For: Tim Tszyu, Tony Harrison Come In At Same Weight For WBO Interim 154-Pound Title Fight

Tony Harrison laughed off Tim Tszyu's intensity as they stared at one another on stage Saturday afternoon in Sydney, Australia. The former WBC super welterweight champion seemingly doesn't think Tszyu is ready for this type of fight. He intends to prove it Sunday afternoon at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney.

Harrison doesn't seem to respect Tim at all, which is odd when you consider the great achievements of second generation fighters like CEJ, Conor Benn, Julio Cesar Chavez Jnr, Marvis Frazier... actually I guess it isn't that odd.

In a lot of other sports you just have to have been brought up in the game. So Stuart Broad's father brought him up to play cricket, there are loads of guys brought up to play football & one of them just scored his 700th or whatever for MCFC. Boxing is different because you're meant to be from the mean streets. By no stretch of the imagination were CEJ or Conor Benn or Chavez Jr or Marvis ever from the mean streets.

Most have been a pretty weird weigh in considering the pictures.

I got Tszyu by UD, about 7-5.

He's a solid fighter, plus the hometown advantage will make a difference

I thought that that this would be a fight when it was first announced, now one day from the actual fight I'm inclined to believe that it might just turn into a red hot scorcher.
I can't get the fact that all of Harrison's losses have been by stoppage, so although I think that it might be a hotly contested fight.
I think that Tszyu is going to catch him at some point in the latter rounds, rock, drop, and stop Tony Harrison for his 4th stoppage loss.

I think Tim gets boxed up. He needs a stationary target to get his shots off otherwise he just hesitates.
