Kambosos should just try to get a very well paying ca$h out fight 'cos he is not beating any of the top guys in the division. Better lose to someone he makes the most money from.

Good thing he didn't take the Stevenson fight he'd of got bashed up. He's one of these fighters he had his moment an now he can get paid well to fight upcoming guys because of the former unified champion status

For whatever the real reason is that Kambo didn't fight Shakur, it was the right move. It would be too similar to the Haney fight, and he'd have 3 straight losses, vs. 2 guys who are lb for lb and happen to be in same division. I hate when otherwise good fighters get stuck in a bad situation after a loss, where their next fight or two are terrible style matchups for them, but they are kid of forced to take it b/c of the timing, not wanting to be a ducker, and the need for a payday. And/or some type of mandatory title obligation. Kell Brook comes to mind - granted nobody forced him to fight GGG, but he goes in and gets his face smashed, then has to fight Spence right after that. At least he made money on 3 bums before going in vs. Crawford, but sometimes these guys just get stuck in the vortex. King Gabe is another one - had he stayed at JMW when he was the #1 contender, but the money he was getting for GGG got him busted up, and next thing he's stuck in the vortex of taking on killers for short money.
