this been going on a very long time in boxing, the late Great Marvin Hagler was the champ with all the Belts but in order to get Ray Leonard in the ring he had to agree to some ridiculous stipulations
Lmfao if it was the other way around you'd be crying like the bltch you are

All these demands for a catchweight non title fight Lmfao cmon man this is bs. You want the fight or not. Give credit where it's due

Also the SRL-Hagler comparison is dumb af. You truly are a dumbass

If you agree to fight at a weight, any weight, there are no excuses.

Don't think you can perform at the weight? Don't agree to fight at that weight.
Then the fight won't be made? You're so ****ing ******. What's the point of all the demands for a non title fight, between two guys who have beat nobody of note?

Pretty clever by tank.. proves how much Ryan wants the fight though.. will make it so much sweeter for him when he Ko's tank. Tank gets gets hit often and Ryan got that power to make sure he stays down

Wondering why Gervonta Davis isn't that confident in this match up, first there is the catchweight, then the rehydration clause and now the is even a rematch clause. You would think that he be jumping over the opportunity on beating a fighter who has a huge following and is way less experienced.

Then again, he is the type of fighter who starts quite slow to absorb information, so perhaps he fears getting countered like this if he makes a mistake:

Because its a career-changing high-stakes fight, and the matchmakers push for every and any minuscule advantage they can get, you realize professional sport has so intricate minor details that mean a lot in the performance, think how they split differences by a mere pound with a 1000lb racehorse and that can be the difference of an inch at the end of two miles.

Because it's not Davis, it's his management, the fighters rarely have anything to do with the matchmaking their job is to fight they don't call for CWs or anything, I bet Manny who made a career of it had nothing to do with wanting the CWs, he was probably happy they were in place but I bet he wasn't the instigator.

And I bet he won't get any, it's an automatic excuse no matter what Davis does he cant get a win without it being thrown at him.

To be fair I wouldn't know how matchmaking business is done. But I don't think however that Gervonta objected in putting those conditions, if he did the fight would have been a done deal earlier on or not happening at all.
