  • Is Amir Khan Enough Past His Prime For Floyd and Manny To Stop Running?

Although Khan announced retirement, he hinted recently that exhibition bouts are on the table. He'd been steadily deteriorating since around 2018 when he went 12 rounds with Sam Vargas. In his last fight against Brook, he was probably less than 40% of what he used to be in his prime, and that may be a generous figure. Even the fight prior to Brook, when Khan faced Billy Dib which was 3 years earlier, Khan looked close to a shot fighter despite winning that bout by KO.

Now it's clear for all to see that Khan is way past prime and considerably less of a risk to Mayweather and Pacquiao, is it finally time for these fights to get made? Both Floyd and Manny are still active boxers, although Floyd seems strictly on the exhibition circuit, while it seems Manny is considering both exhibition bouts and full professional bouts.

We all remember the history of how Floyd undeniably avoided Khan incessantly for many years running, and how Manny avoided him for a while later on too, or so it seemed. They likely both saw Khan as too much of a risk to their legacy. But now, Khan is a shot fighter and a far easier proposition for both Floyd and Manny to deal with. They've both probably aged better than Khan which may be because Khan's interest in boxing since around 2018 has been minimal. He checked out of the sport mentally a long time ago, perhaps disillusioned and dejected after being avoided by the two ATGs for several years.

Anyway, Khan might be jumping on the exhibition circuit so fights with both these legends are a possibility once again. If they finally stopped running, that is. So which exhibition would you prefer to see first Khan vs Floyd or vs Pacquiao?

One-eyed, shot Brook made him his wife in the ring. Froid would beat him like a stepchild even at his 46.

A mere con will never under any circumstances EVER come anywhere close to beating either.

At Khan’s peak, on his best night he MIGHT qualify to carry the jockstrap of one of the 2 legends that were mentioned but I doubt it.

I hear Floyd and Manny’s jockstrap positions are pretty competitive and Amir has a glass jaw so he would probably not make it.

Well Floyd said he is not fighting anybody who poses better than 10% risk of hitting him back, so I doubt it

Khan won Floyds bogus poll and Floyd still ducked him, so I doubt Floyd does an exhibition with him

I'd say he is a 12.5 percent risk

Everyone after Prescott was risking their lives fighting Khan.
No way were May or Pac going to risk their health/lives vs ATG#2

                    Sheeeeeeit
Why would a MFer expect them to
