I feel that even if Bernard Dunne had followed his game plan of jabbing and keeping his distance, the fight would have just been a tko or ko later rather than earlier.

Poonsawat walked through his heaviest stuff unfazed so it was just a matter of time before Dunne could cease to hold him off.

Poon is known for taking shots and for keeping coming. He also has fought some excellent boxers such as Sidorenko, a better version of Cordoba, Somsak (although on the decline still a force) for example so I think Dunne would've had to be on that level to get the decision and he's clearly not.

Poon also hits very hard. He is able to get in and connect while eating some leather . I think Dunne clearly underestimated his left hook as that's the punch that dropped Dunne at least twice. And the thing is, his right hand is more vicious so Dunne was guarding against that.

Dunne's defense isn't very good but I guess that's what made the Cordoba fight so compelling.

Poon is probably top 3 in the world in this division, so I don't think it's the worst loss ever and I applaud Dunne for taking such a wicked challenging fight.

he was never gonna do it lastnight,
Poonsawat was like a little terrior attacking and he has was a hard enough puncher to do dunne,
I take it you didnt watch any of Poonsawats fights prior to this one......

My problem is that you have completely talked down about a man who has done wonders for this country as far as boxing goes,
He has put on great shows in the O2 and set great buzzes allover the country,
Whether he deserved to be a champion or not he still always put on a great show and loved his fans just as much as they loved his nights in the point or the 02,
I never rated Dunne as a fighter, hes a good boxer needs to sort his defence out and try not get hit,
get a new trainer and go back to the drawing board and be sure that he fcukin will,
You said some fcukin disgraceful things about this "Grown Man,"
who has the "ballz" to go straight ahead and fight the mandatory contender for the title.......

Comeback to me when you get some real loyalty for a fellow country man who has only ever gone on out and try to put on a good show and shown guts and heart when he needed too....
Real loyalty?? lets get a couple of things straight here bernard fights for himself and his family nobody else ok!. you started off your own post calling bernard a b-class fighter so you diss him as much as me so shut your face.i never see you with irish fighters in your avator.......
