This fight is happening now because both fighters took it upon themselves to agree to terms, not because someone like Espinoza made it happen. That should always be the bottom line in every high profile fight. Any network can carry such fight. And they would readily acknowledge they only have supporting roles in the fight.

The irony is that on that same Mannix podcast, Espinoza basically said that Tank vs Ryan is happening because both instructed their team to make it happen and no other fight would do.

What could BLK PRIME have given to Showtime for them to allow a championship fight between Boots and Crawford on an upstart app streaming service rather than on Showtime? Unless Bozy was willing to break his contract with his promoter and his exclusive deal with Showtime, then that wouldn't make sense.

Boots advisor is Cameron Dunkin and not Al. This is one of the reason some people feel that Boots' career has not takeoff yet like it should have by this point. As for Showtime, obviously, Boots has a working relationship but I don't know if he has an exclusive deal like a Tank for example.

I know that Boots is signed to D&D Promotions, which is Cameron Dunkin, and he is on an exclusive network contract with Showtime, which is the network that Dunkin and Team Ennis chose.
