3 Mexicans have won ufc titles back to back to back. Moreno in January in the opponents hometown of Brazil, Rodriquez in February and just last night Grasso upsetting one of the greatest female mma fighters ever in Shevchenko.

That country is producing champs on a weekly basis.

Mexico has been producing good talent this latest decade, the country now even has multiple MMA networks to promote young talent and the UFC will build an PI in Mexico City.

You know what's interesting though, despite that Brandon (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu), Yair (Taekwando) and Alexa (Kickboxing) are specialized in different backgrounds, their improved stand up mostly in boxing is what got them in the title contention.
