that blown up featherweight thing is getting tired. Marquez is a great fighter, and he has never been stopped. Its like he would have gotten all the credit in the world if he beat floyd, and all people do when he loses is take away from his potency as a fighter or p4p contender.

But anyway, Floyd himself admits that he had alot of rust, and that he wishes he threw more combinations in the Marquez fight. Plus, I truly do believe his mentality needs to be pushed for him to go into "knockout mode"... The importance and scope of the Pac fight, paired with the high intensity in-your-face style of Pacquiao, added to the grief Floyd has felt lately from hater/fans and disrespectful peers and media,

Could very well push him into the mindstate needed to do exactly that

As ludicrous as this premise might seem at first, I think its an interesting line of contemplation to follow.

I do think Floyd is getting pissed off, what with all the haters and doubters, and sarcastic media..oh and disrespectful peers. We might see his old self in the next fight he does. You know, the guy that went toe to toe with Corley or threw more than 2 punch combinations. I'm talking hook after vicious hook like back in the day.. 10+ punch combinations.

He has the ability to do this...the reason I think he doesn't is, I don't think Floyd is as brutally minded as a lot of fighters. But if he continue's to get heckled by haters and losers that don't have an ounce of his ability, it is quite possible he will just unload on his next unfortunate opponent.

I thought if we would ever see that Mayweather again, it would be against a lightweight with no ability to hurt Floyd in a fight where Floyd wanted to make a statement. The fact we didn't see anything other than the same pot shot Mayweather makes me wonder if he is capable of letting his hands go anymore.

He's had to deal with sarcastic media and haters for years now and it hasn't made him any better a puncher, I doubt he will magically fight like a super featherweight again.

Anyone who watched pbf fight hoya,hatton,marquez knows that floyd couldve turned the volume on whenever he really wanted too..

I hope he does decide that and fight more offensively. It's exactly what Pacquiao wants.
