You think Tyson was more skilled? Disagree.

            Same here

Mike flexxed on some shabby opponents.
He doesn't have too many quality W's

Berbick, Smith and Tubbs were not going to be champs for more than 1 defense.
How many title defenses did they have ?

The guys Mike couldn't KO knew they could easily walk him down and tie him up.
            Mike was also very predictable.
He would put both hands under his chin, bob left, then right, then attack with hooks.
            All the time.

He seldom fought a dangerous opponent.
The ones he fought beat him.

            Holmes was a complete boxer.
            Better chin
            Better defense
            Better recovery
            Better resume
            Better technique

Mike was faster and put more power behind his shots.
Mike was not about to outbox any legit guy.

If a resume is soft, how can you tell if a guy is really talented ?

Berbick, Smith and Tubbs were not quality opponents.
Bruno, Ruddock....as average as it gets.
Holmes....spent 2 years on the sofa waiting for the Tyson call.
(he was almost twice as old as Mike when they fought)

Mike didn't have a defense, per se.
Fear was what he had going for him.
