I think it’s probably unrealistic to expect one organisation to government boxers fighting in gang king dens in Kathmandu to fighters in arenas in Ulsan Bator to small halls in Dakar to Montevideo etc etc. I think the best thing we can realistically hope for is eventually for one promotion to come out on top in each major country and then as you say a national level commission in the usa. Which would mean a lot of people out of the job and or with less power in the sport with the state commissions gone or transformed. Something tells me we will get electric cars in the majority before we get boxing cleaned up.
by the way, you’re right about FNFs and I’d go back to ABC WWoS, and USA Tuesday Night Fights as well. Boxing was better back then. I say it took a hit on the usa when we really had to come to terms with basketball and nfl football getting what would have been our heavyweights
