I like that. I really don't think Floyd is a prick or a bad guy. I honestly think he was just trying to promote himself and get attention in the media.

Yes, Floyd is smarter than everyone of his haters think he is. He's not as smart as HE thinks he is but hey, I've never met someone who the best at ANYTHING who doesn't have a bit of an ego problem. That said I think this is Floyd's best interview yet.

I actually think he was humbled, and brought back down to the reality that he finally has the recognition that he deserves, and he can finally be himself.

The recognition that he really never got based on his performances in the ring, which made him resort to fabricating this bad guy persona, that really anyone could see right through.

He's a good guy, and I think that he'll be able to win back the fans that despised the act he put on without any problems.


I know we've only seen/heard two interviews, but this is the Floyd that I remember before he became Money Mayweather. It seems 100% genuine, something that the bad guy **** never did, IMO.

I remember watching him fight at Bill Graham in San Francisco several years ago, and he stayed after the fight to sign autographs and meet fans for at least 2 hours after the fight.
