Broner was never a big draw. He did good numbers on HBO after dark views but people weren’t paying PPV money to see him fight.

He was a weight bully before he got exposed by Maidana. His style and lack of power never translated above 140 and his lack of discipline meant he couldn’t slim down to that weight past his mid 20’s.
