Is Cotto a better fighter than JMM pound for pound?

To be fair he only tires against top fighter, but JMM is better than any guy he fought. And if you tire against JMM chances are you will get stopped.

IMO fighters like JMM, Manny and Cotto should all be cherished. They all have taken on all comers. I want to add Shane in that list also but the balco thing leaves him out IMO, but he still took on all comers.

True warriors will never get dissed by me. I have respect for guys who simply want to beat you down and are willing to take risks even after reaching the top.

They are a special breed IMO.

Now this is a statement from a real boxing fan. All boxers except ones that get caught cheating the sport in any way should be respected. Or boxers that outright quit when there is no physical harm done and are perfectly able to continue fighting, like whitter did. Green K for you!

I don't eliminate Mosley completely either. There is that window of time that I eliminate what he achieved, but the lure of enhancement to top athletes is there. I like to tell myself maybe he had a bad injury he was trying to work though at the time. To me that lessons the blow because balco or not, I will always be there when Shane steps into the ring. He has done way too many good things in his career to have one ****up ruin it for me. Green K back

The point in this thread was to discredit Cotto by trying to compare apples to oranges. He knew it would turn into a hate thread, and he is being called on it.

JMM is a great fighter. Cotto is a great fighter. Both are warriors, but in different wieght classes. JMM lost 5 fights. Cotto lost one very su****ious, controversial fight where one of his favorite fighters got caught trying to cheat and got banned. Now he hates Cotto.
