I wasn't impressed with Rolly. If he can talk his way into fights, more power to him. I'm not sure I'll be watching, though.

Russell taking a step backward with this opponent, he got a scare in his last fight.
      I agree 100%!

Romero got a gift decision in one fight, and knocked out in another fight, there are fighters more deserving than he is in the 140 pound division.
Such as Gary Antuanne Russel who is also fighting on this card, but isn't challenging for a title, beside's the fact that Russel can probably KO Romero also.

I'd understand if Romero was a proven commodity but he's not. Romero hasn't been a legitimate champion or a top contender on a consistent basis; he's just been a vocal fighter with little to show for it in terms of professional success.
It's not an acceptable world title fight nor should it be headlining a card. Even stylistically the fight isn't redeemable because Puello isn't going to exchange with Romero; it's likely to be another Marinez vs Romero situation.
Because whether you like it or not Rollt sells tickets as well as he sells himself. He'll I'd pay 74.99 PPV for his press conference just to hear that squeaky nasily little voice of his hahahaha

Its too hard for me not to like this clown, Rolly, even though he's limited skill wise and mentally, he's extremely entertaining and has that delusional "Tyson Fury" like belief in himself. As long as he's not fighting one of my favorite fighters, then I will root for him.

Rolly Romero similarly to Teo, is always going to be in the smaller compared to contenders at 140. Think it be very difficult for him to beat anyone at the top 5 since his power won't translate well coupled with the fact that it is his athleticism that got him where he is at in 135, not his boxing skills.

total trash of a fight. they avoided barroso last year and he still can't get his chance. he is 40 already. 40 years old means mandatory retirement in venezuela. what are they waiting for? russell and rances deserve this title shot more than nobody romero moving up and coming off of knockout loss in his only meaningful fight. this is exactly what's wrong with boxing.
