Everything is ready for tonight, beginning at 8:00 pm in the coliseum Bezares Héctor Solá, José Miguel Cotto returns against Martin Ramirez as part of a series of promotions by boricuas MIguel Cotto Promotions, H2 Entertainment and the town of Caguas.
Cotto, who's recoird is 29-1, with 21 knockouts, weighed 144 pounds and three quarters at the official weigh in of the the card, held in the public square of Caguas. His opponent weighed 144.5.
According to press release, Cotto admitted that he only knows the name of his rival. But he said he trained hard enough and he is in the condition required for a good fight.
"One fits the style in every fight, but the basis is there is always the same," he said.
The card will be a fight in the cruise division. Undefeated bayamon Vincent Miranda (10-0, 4 KOs), who weighted 185 pounds, will face his towns people William Santiago (5-6-1), who weighed 182 pounds.
