Well...honestly people. Margarito is gonna find it hard to win any kind of a decision in boxing due to that cheating fiasco. Boxing very much so still has a large element of politics involved, and cheating in boxing is tantamount to political suicide.

I did not see the fight, though

YES.. you don't see Glen Johnson loading his gloves up do you? why does this cheating ****ing prick get a pass, **** this ******* man clean up space on this forum and erase this thread talking about a cheating prick, he doesn't pertain to Boxing anymore yo he's been rejected, **** him yo they should overturn all his wins and put him in history as the loser he proved he is.. he could have killed Cotto and tried to do the same to Mosley, who knows if Cintron and Kyvelos got the same treatment, his whole career is now a fluke stop bringing this cheaters name up at least until he slimes his way into another license 10 years from now

I had Margarito winning. Santos actually looked ready to go later on.

When you think he started using the wraps?
What does the fight happening in Las Vegas have to do with him not being caught cheating? You do realize that it's the opponent's team that gets to watch the fighter get his hands wrapped. So I don't know what the location of the fight would have to do with it.

And it's actually hard to notice if a fighters hand wraps are done correctly. Proof: Felix Trinidad.

His hands were wrapped in a way that allowed his punch to have more effect. Bernard Hopkins' team noticed right before their fight that the hand wraps were done wrong and they had to redo them several times. Guess what happened? He suffered his first loss in a bad way.

He also said that's how his hands were wrapped for every one of his 40 fights. So yeah. I guess it is hard to notice.

Desperate?? Look who's talking. How long was it for you guys to get satisfaction from the Sanchez over Gomez win??? We're talking about decades here Jr. lol. You guys had to get a robbery to actually win the biggest fight with DLH and Tito. Who knows if Tito might of cheated with his wraps against him too.
Well at least Marquez was fighting someone his own size. Calderon had two fight Cazares who was 5 inches bigger than him.

Not only the opponents team. You forget the commission has to sign off on them?? What do they do before that??

I think it's just the case of how you score fights.

Santos was the one fighting slick throwing counters, Tony was the one who was pressuring him and he did in fact come on strong in the last couple of rounds creating su****ion about the score.

We'll I digress and that's beside the point.

You're clearly biased and even if Margarito had in fact under different circumstances knocked Santos out, you'd score the fight for Santos out of sheer Puerto Rican fanboyism.

You replied ignoring the Felix Trinidad case. He had 40 fights before the Hopkins match and he had his hands wrapped illegally in most, if not all of them.

I'd bet that the commission doesn't know jack **** about hand wrapping. And if they did, do you honestly think they watch each fighter get his hands wrapped closely?
