That sounds like a damn good fight card to me, you could fill out the card with Prograis vs Russel, and Ramirez vs Barboza.
In those fight's I would pick Matias, Zepeda, Lee, Prograis, and Ramirez, I could be wrong on the Lee pick against Rodriguez.

Matias is PBC, isn't he? Prograis is Probellum, Probellum has said they are open to working with PBC. But I still don't think the fight happens - despite it being a great fight. Matias has not received the same level of marketing machine behind him that guys like Bum****a, Teofimo,Boots, Loma, Golovkin, etc. have received. Which is a shame.
I wish Showtime/Matias was following the HBO/GGG formula of fighting as often as possible with whoever wants to fight. Matias was complaining recently about Taylor holding up the titles, but that shouldn't stop him from staying active. He should fight an IBF-ranked contender (Catterall, Ergashev, Paro, Spark, Hiraoka) in the May-August, and then try to get a more significant fight.

Problem is, all of those except MAYBE Ergashev get destroyed from my perspective.

Why is that a problem? The better he looks, the faster his profile will grow.

GGG fought Proksa/Rosado/Ishida/Macklin/Stevens in 14 months. GGG's activity is what kept his name in the public consciousness. If possible, Matias needs to fight more frequently. Nobody can ignore a fan-friendly boxer who fights often.

When did Prograis say “let’s do this”? I’m not saying he didn’t but I haven’t seen this.

              140 is totally LOADED!

              My opinion:

              Top level: Matias, Taylor, Prograis
2nd level: Teo, Puello, Ramirez, Catterall
              3rd level: Barboza, Russell, Ergashev
4th level: Zepeda, Paro, B Lee, R Garcia

14 quality fighters. I don’t think there’s another division that stacked.

Rungvisai was fan friendly from his fourth fight on. Ignored until he fought Choco.

True, but weight-class and quality/profile of opposition also play a factor. We know that the small weights tend not to receive as much media attention as higher weights, and Rungvisai's opposition leading up to the Gonzalez bout wasn't world-level. Matias is in position to build his profile, but he needs to fight more often. He has a network, a fan-friendly style, and an untapped Puerto-Rican following. I think Showtime should outsource Matias if they're not gonna build him up properly.

He had an interview a while back where he said "Matias is tough but I whoop him let's do it"

Given that you will post anything (true or not) to support your agenda, I’m doubting it. But whatever, not really a big deal either way.
