People used to say that about Tyson Fury
some people fight to the level of their opponents.
but as I said, I don’t think Tommy Fury is going to be some world class world beater. But if anyone knows boxing, they can see he has far better boxing coordination than Jake Paul.
at the end of the day, nobody really knows what’s going to happen. plenty of trainers like Shane McGuigan who doesn’t have any involvement with Tommy Fury said he was impressed with him in the gym. Ben Davison said he’s seen Tommy handle good level fighters in the gym. I don’t think Shane McGuigan is just making that up for no reason. so I’m guessing he does have some ability at least, why wouldn’t he?
he has been training all his life and fought as a junior. Been sparring heavyweights like Tyson since he was a teenager. Whether he has the ability to make a decent career out of, I’m not sure. but there’s no way he doesn’t know his way around a boxing ring well enough.

this generation obsessed with drama is disgusting. May the best man win. I’ve seen enough of JP to know he’s a bum that’s got good work ethic and beats on handpicked opponents.
Haven’t really seen Tommy Fury but if he was chosen, it’s for a reason. Personally I hope Fury wins just because Jake Paul has become a boxing sideshow like Butterbean.
I don’t really care that he makes noise to casuals since those casuals prolly wouldn’t watch Matias vs Ponce next week, meaning their opinion on boxing is null and void.
