I'd love Beterbiev/Bivol now, but Eddie is going to do whatever he can to keep that from happening until the Canelo rematch.

I still don’t think Canelo takes that rematch

He will say he wants it because he can’t say otherwise, but I think ultimately he will find another direction to go in when it comes down to it.

Thats why Eddie has suddenly started talking about making Bivol v Beterbiev, even though he was adamant about making the Canelo rematch. That’s a nice reason to prolong Canelo fighting him. It’ll be “we’re trying to make the undisputed, so Canelo probably wouldn’t fight Bivol until next year”

They’ll keep putting it off until nobody cares about the rematch.

This really surprised me as I thought Bivol vs Buatsi was locked in.
