True. He was very confident in talking about Hatton and DLH because he saw something. His tune is a little different with Cotto.

Cotto was very good..all you have to do is look at some of his fight highlights. The question I have, is whether that loss to Margacheato has changed him or not.

STFU Freddie! Just train your fighter and go about your day. Nobody wants to hear your assessment anyway. ****head.

His records speaks for itself and I expect Cotto to beat Pacquiao by either knockout or decision.

Cotto didn't beat Malignaggi, Quintana, Judah, Mosley, and Clottey for nothing.

honestly Cotto IS a complete fighter, they are looking at this correctly yo Manny will be very well prepared, but so will Cotto. honestly Manny's best chance is to attack Cotto's body and gas him out, face shots wont do it because Cotto has a GREAT chin and he knows how to survive in rough situations, his defense is excellent in the way he bobs and weaves shots and if Manny does commit to the body he opens himself up to Cotto punches up top which if Juan Manuel made you swing off like that Cotto will floor you, those kinds of shots affect fighters in fights and Cotto has above average, world skill level ability in all aspects. if he gasses out then he losses if not he wins it, either way Freddie Roach is showing who he is, he is doing the correct thing preparing Manny for 12 HARD rounds and mixing that uppercut so deeply in his arsenal, Cotto is succeptable to that punch, he can be hurt very badly if caught flush with with one of those uppercuts especially if his tank is low, he is a strong and durable fighter though so thats a long shot. props to Freddie Roach for going about this fight the correct way.

Roach comes out saying 'we wont let Cotto use his weight as an advantage', but moaned about Cotto's protests at not wanting to put the belt on the line.
My goodness how many times do I have to say this--Mark Vester took it out of context. Roach was referring to strategy when he was quoted by Philstar.

good fighter, but complete? Maybe nearly complete. He still has that ugly habit of dangling his head too far forward, and he gets punished by uppercuts for it, and he's been rocked by some of them.

Cotto is a complete fighter, he can box well, he can brawl, counter, fight rough if he needs to, he's strong, can box orthadox or southpaw, has a good chin huge heart and good recovery, he's also a great body puncher and when he is in pressure fighter mode he cuts the ring off extremely well. Yet through all this he remains vulnerable. I cant Wait for the Cotto vs Pac fight!
