Actually Cotto should be considered #1 WW. What makes Floyd #1? Who has he beat at WW? Cotto beat Mosley, Clottey, Quintana, Judah all top 10 at the time he beat them. Was beating Margarito until the plaster hardened and has faced nothing but true WW's since moving up to the division. Floyd could be the #1 Jr.WW since that's all he's beaten lately, Jr.WW's coming up to 147 or even from 135.

Floyd shuldn't be ahead of Cotto. I agre that The Ring is the most respected rankings in the sport. But, that dosen't mean that they are always right. Doug Fischer who works for The Ring. Also disagreed with the rankings.

Margarito would destroy Pac and Marquez any day..he would walk right through those little guys like he did with Cotto who isnt much bigger than them..Cotto at least put up an amazing fight before the plaster got to him

But, that does not mean that Margarito is better than JMM P4P. And, I think that was the point streetbully was trying to make. In a sense that JMM and Morales were better P4P. Which might be true. But, P4P is not a weight-class. Welterweight is. At WW, Cotto is 10 times better than JMM, 20 times better than Erik Morales. Those 2 fighters are not WW. Cotto will be the toughest fight that Pac has ever had.

explain to me again how beating a LW gets you ranked #2 at WW?
