He won't be able to avoid Matias, if Matias wins the 140 pound IBF Title. Matias has already been calling out Prograis for approximately 2 year's now.
Prograis was able to avoid him back then, because he didn't have a title. If Matias wins the IBF, and calls for the unification, Prograis won't be able to avoid him at that point.

That's because they know better, as you well know.

Prograis has fought for far to long to run, or give up opportunities for greater glory, at least when push comes to shove that is.

if ponce had some power in his punches i'd give him a chance for this one but doesn't have enough to hurt matias whose defense is really bad and always takes punishment, also his gas tank isn't the best. he still too strong for jeremias.

God damn a matchup between Matias and Prograis would be an absolute war.

A 10 month training camp? You got to admire Matias' work ethic. If he KO's Ponce early you might see more guys doing it.
I'm joking. A 10 month training camp is just not economically feasible for most fighters and probably not necessary.

No fighters are afraid of other fighters, it’s just since business is stressed, fighters are looking for high reward lowest risk.

                    that said

war Browny! Best 140 pound fighter period, without the belt.

Should be an awesome fight while it lasts. Going with Matias with this one, but what always worries me is he doesn't have the greatest defense. He can be hit. I don't want to see him turn into the common story where the big puncher goes in there, everyone is expecting him to deliver a knockout and instead in turn, he gets knocked out himself.

Matias style is fun to watch and I do love how relentless he is. He delivers tons of uppercuts that don't look too strong but have enough sting on them. Then when the opportunity is right, adds additional power to the punch, constantly mixing it up. Love his punch variety and pace.
