Tommy Morrison vs Andy Ruiz Jr (Hypothetical)

Tommy "The Duke" Morrison, had a professional record of 48-3-1 (42 KOs). He had defeated George Foreman who was past his prime by UD and knocked out Donovan Ruddock inside the sixth round, he also accumulated a decent streak of wins against Pinklon Thomas, Joe Hipp and Carl Williams.

Against Andy Ruiz Jr at 35-2-0 (22KOs) pulled the upset against Anthony Joshua by TKO, he has wins over Chris Arreola and Luis Ortiz who were past their prime, however the latter was still a capable contender as he knocked out contender Charles Martin in the sixth-round months prior to facing Ruiz.

Andy also had a controversial loss to Joseph Parker.

Most top fighters that would lose to Ruiz would have to overlook him , a focused Morrison would be hard for Ruiz . I don’t think he’d keep Morrison off him for 12 rounds ,I think this does go to decision though and Morrison slows down after mid rounds giving up late rounds but accumulating enough to get the win . Morrison would have to punch himself out and he learned not to do that early in his career . I could see a Joe Hipp type fight ,the only consistency about Morrison is being inconsistent though .

Tommy has enough boxing ability to UD Ruiz. Both guys are known for bad stamina but Tommy's is due to blowing his load, while Ruiz's is due to being a fatass and out of shape. He was going to lose to 40 y/o Ortiz if he hadn't had those 2 knock downs, one of which was BS.

          I'd go with Tommy
          Better power and ring generalship.
