No such thing as list if your only choice is the 2nd IBF ranked fighter.

    Hope that helps.

Kinda weird that you single out Boots here. I’m sure he’d jump at the chance to fight Bud and Virgil. They decided to fight Kava for a reason.

No such thing as chance when you already have 31 fights on your record and still continue to fight subpar opponents. You create them. Crawford is available and a free agent. He's got the WBO title and Boots for some odd reason dropped out of his mandatory position; aside from the fact that he repeatedly said he'll fight Bud in a heartbeat. What happened? Why is he not doing anything about it? He's got Showtime on his back and all he had to do is talk to Espinoza and tell him to make the Bud fight happen for him. Nothing wrong with trying. Do we see that kind of effort? NO.

Maybe you're new to the sport? They will start with the 2nd ranked fighter, because they don't have a #1 ranked fighter, and if he doesn't accept, they'll work their way down the list! This won't be the 1st time the IBF has to do this! Sad they have to do this anyway! If Spence would've given Boots his shot, instead of fighting Thurman @ 154, we would know who Boots is fighting for the IBF WW Championship!

Boots was never Crawford's mandatory, Vergil Ortiz Jr. was WBO #1, but he decided to appeal to the WBA for Stanionis! You are just pulling things out of your azz now! Boots was Spence Jr.'s mandatory, and he exercised his rights to the fight! Spence had 120 days from January 7th to fight Boots, or vacate! Looks like he's gonna vacate! That's on Spence Jr., not on Boots!

Ortiz Jr basically rejected his #1 position twice. There's no reason in the world why a 2nd ranked fighter Jaron Boots won't be allowed to claim it, but for some odd reason he wouldn't. And the difference between them is that Ortiz never bragged about fighting Crawford in a heartbeat. Jaron Boots did. Nobody knows the reason why Boots won't file a petition for his mandatory position when he had it. Mandatories don't even matter in boxing and any two fighter can fight without titles. Bud and Boots are available. Yet Boots with Showtime on his back won't make any effort to make the fight with free agent Crawford.

Tell you what. Ask a YouTuber to investigate who on that list are. Maybe you're the one who's acting new or pretend you knew nothing about the business of boxing. It was already mentioned by someone in another thread quoting Malik that mandatories mean nothing in boxing. It's not new. It's general knowledge.

He did petition for his position with IBF! He was NOT WBO #1, Vergil was! Regardless if he rejected it twice, he was still #1! Boots did what he was supposed to do, and go after Errol Spence Jr.!

Boots did what he was supposed to do, and put himself in position to fight the BEST Welterweight in the game! Spence chose to go away! That's not Boots' fault! Just like Haney put himself in position to fight Lomachenko! Loma chose Teofimo Lopez! That's not Haney's fault! Haters always try to change the narrative, but facts are facts!
