This fight is a perfect examination between a degraded skillset in fighters in the last 30 years.

Both guys are hesistent to fight on the inside, even Villarreal, who would benefit from it.

Both guys only sustain an effort while coming in, then immediately clinch, with no effort to punch while in the clinch, or fight out of it.

Combination Punching is dead/ or at least very rare, and inside fighting is completely dead, outside of the fighters in the P4P list.

Ardreal won clear, however he left a bad taste in seeing what I witnessed a tall slick defensive minded boxer with no offensive desire whatsoever. I will keep a close eye out seeing he’s from Michigan but I need to see better and more.
