  • Comments Thread For: Fury: Jake Paul Really Is F-----; Nothing In His Arsenal Can Keep Me From Knocking Him Out

Tommy Fury isn't impressed with anything Jake Paul has done during his six-fight professional boxing career. Tyson Fury's younger half-brother believes Paul is in for a rude awakening when they finally fight February 26 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia because none of his five opponents prepared Paul for what awaits him in their eight-round cruiserweight

We've at least heard of Paul's opponents. Anderson Silva is better than all of Fury's opponents combined so far.

This will be Tommy's biggest pay day of his entire career and win or lose, will be the only mark he ever leaves on the sport.

Fury is going to embarrass boxing and his family name.

Paul was desperate to fight him because he knows fury isnt a real boxer anymore than he himself is. Fury fought a complete string of bums, Fury's competition combined has 7 times more losses than wins

If Fury was serious about an actual boxing career, he would have fought those 8 bums in his first year not over the course of 4 years. He is a reality TV star not a boxer.

The more Fury talks the more you get the feeling he’s trying to keep himself hyped up to reduce the stage fright he’s going to have when he’s actually in the ring.

Tommy doesn't know the UFC welterweight is not like the one in boxing, even though 140 is technically not welterweight either. He may not even know the weightclasses in his own sport.

I think Jake beating Silva isnt a great win, but it is great experience. In fighting a fight legend and not be beaten must help Jakes belief to not be overawed.
Tommy thinks Jakes nothing. Jake thinks tommys nothing. So they are evenly matched i guess.

Well, Tommy may have some point about who Jake has fought.

But who exactly has Tommy fought and beaten? I'd say Jake's record is actually better, especially the win over Silva.

Once a boxer gets to 50 losses but is still allowed to fight, it’s normally safe to say they’ve got some ability as a journeyman. I’m definitely not saying Fury is great but I’m not sure Jake Paul could beat any of the guys that Tommy Fury Went distance with.

Tommy didn’t look bad in his first couple of fights against poor opposition but you’re right, he should have had those 8 fights behind closed doors.
