    As he should. Why not?

He's effectively a professional boxer who has had as many fights as Jake Paul has had professionally. Go pick out any random, non olympian, pro boxer with as many fights as Jake Paul and you'll see nothing different.

    So, why not?

He beats Fury. May as well give him the ranking. At that point, it's going to be hard to put together these circus acts for Jake Paul though. He's going to have to fight real boxers from there on.

Aww. I got you. I honestly know next to nothing about Tommy Fury outside the fact he's the half or step brother of Tyson Fury. Never seen him fight and looking at BoxRec, I haven't seen an opponent/match up that makes me want to pay attention to him. Jake Paul is what he is. I feel if he or his brother want to be taken seriously in this sport by actual fans, they need to go through the ranks like other fighters do. Respect to them getting their money and marketing themselves on their own platforms, but they need to chill on referring to themselves as the future of boxing when they clearly are afraid to get in the ring with actual boxers. Fighting old ass retired UFC fighters, retired NBA players, or retire boxers don't impress the diehards of the sport.

Right now, from me, they have much respect as a combat sports figure as I have for John Cena and the Undertaker......
