Pascal was throwing haymakers fighting differently than he usually does without concern to where he was aiming, but I thing a couple were deliberate.

Branco wasn't bending down so much, he was complaining a lot to the ref who was ignoring it.

Yeah, Diaconu was in the building and came in to the ring after the fight was over.

Hopefully Diaconu will be at his best for that fight. He would have defeated the version of Pascal we saw tonight.

Is it me, or does Canada seems to hold their "major" fights on friday nights, or atleast those with fighters based in Canada? Pascal-Diaconu was on a friday, Bute-Zuniga was on a friday, and Catalinul said Pascal-Diaconu II is currently penciled in for a friday (12/11).

It's prolly due to the hockey season or something.

All these fights were at the Bell Centre which is also the home of the Montreal Canadians(what a gay name)

Guess now I know you're not from the parts of Eastern Europe that like hockey, or at the least, the NHL.

It hasn't been hockey season since June Cat.

Not that I'm complaining, just something of an oddity.

I don't think it's because of hockey games... I think it's only a trend in Montreal to put the best fight on friday night, because when Alcine lost his belt against Santos,it was a friday night of summer, when Bute fought Andrade,Zuniga and even Berrio for the title it was all on friday night.

As for the rabbit punch, Pascal gave a rabbit punch in the first knockdown, the ref misjudgeg the situation, but for all the other knockdowns, WOW!! Branco was such a *****, you could see on the replay that it was right on the side of his head and he was continuing to take the back of his head.

Also, he was such a *****, I think in the 3rd or 4th round, he tried to headbutt Pascal and in the middle rounds, his tape was loose, the referee stopped the bout to replace it, and 2 seconds after the ref stopped the action, Branco took a knee on the ground and said he's been hit by a punch after the stoppage..
