nobody in the mainstream knows who the hell pwilly is, or all boxers out there at 154 for that matter so it aint gonna help. theres enough names in the ww division like mosley, cotto, margarito and pac. if he fought them four he would be top 5 atg easy.

He said he thinks Floyd might just be the greatest that ever lived, or at least he has the potential to be. If he cleans out the WW division.. Do you think he can go down as the greatest to ever step into a ring? I think he can...

      Thoughts?
You know what, I'm a big Floyd critic but this has actually crossed my mind, not that he could be the greatest ever, cos I think its too late for that, but possibly very high up there.
The key word is potential, and its why i hav Floyd at #4 in my P4P, he just needs to prove how good he really is by taking on the big boys, because his recent record is fairly limited when compared to Pac, Mosley and Cotto. To really step it up he would need to beat Mosley and Cotto, maybe Margarito or Clottey, then move up to L-Mid and beat Williams. I also think to be considered the best he needs to add more offence to his game, he lacks a killer instinct and dosnt really follow up on his sharp shooting. Lets be honest, Marquez shouldnt have lasted 6rounds last saturday. I think this would require a big change in attitude though, and I doubt he will, but Mosley has to be his next fight..

Very respectable. Glad to see a Floyd critic who actually sees past personal feelings towards the guy, and can see the potential he possesses. Most Floyd critics will be quick to criticize everything he does without seeing what actually may be one of the top 5 ATG's. Thank you for your opinion. Again, very respectable.

I'm gonna ask you a question. And I'll ask you to think about this.

How many fighters cleaned out their 4th or 5th weight class?
Especially a guy who fought 80% of his fights in the lower weights.

Bob Arum, Pacquiao's promoter, said that Floyd was the best fighter he has seen since Ali. The best in 40 years.

Thanks Pullcounter! You guys are giving me a lot of things to think about. I would love to see him just f'ng go all out. Balls to the wall. Fight everybody that poses a threat and beat them all undefeated. That would be a site to behold.

Think about this...He a cherry picking fight ducker that has skills he can only use against fighters who he knows he can beat. Fighters he knows will give him a problem,he will run and duck.

Think about this... Floyd has more pure boxing talent than any fighter in the world. If he decides to quit cherry picking and fight Pac, Cotto, Mosley, he has a very good chance and kicking every one of their asses. Nobody in that weight class can box with Floyd. He may get knocked out but good luck. I like Floyd against any of them.
