Ryder fought a shell of Jacobs that's just collecting a few checks at the end of his career and he was still gifted a decision clearly losing more rounds. Stop trying to deflect it away from your hero, Charlo was his mandatory and he vacated and ran, more than once.

When you say Canelo won’t be “overconfident” you are making an excuse for the loss. Canelo lost to the better man. It’s that simple.
That excuse is no different from the Canelo was “young and green” when Floyd beat him. No different from the “lucky punch” when Marquez flattened PAC, no different from the “injury” when Floyd beat PAC or the “toe injury” David Haye had when Wladimir beat him.

Canelo may avenge the loss, the issue most people take was that it wasn’t even a close fight so why should there be a rematch? Canelo vs Lara warranted a rematch but we never got it.
Good to see that some Cinnabon fans can think objectively, most of them on here are vigorously assertive dxck holders.

Try living in reality, its where moments actually happen.
Since he fought mikey Spence said Crawford next but it never happens
the only charlo doing something is the one at 154 but that’s a weak division
Spence running from Crawford and jermall just fights him bum after bum

Canelo has to be the most overhyped media made "great fighter" of the last 20 years. He is a good fighter. He looks great against smaller guys, as he comes into the ring outweighing them by 10-15 pounds, then bullies them. Fair enough, he is following the rules.

He got clearly beat by a past his prime GGG in the first fight, got a gift draw, and then at best drew with GGG in their second fight, and got a gift win. He never stops anyone who isn't suspect.....he can stop a terrified Plant or a half asleep washed Kov and call himself great, and the media sells him like he is a monster. Bivol, a fundamentally good boxer not known for his power, beat Canelo up badly and likely could have stopped him had he been a tad more aggressive.

Canelo was a top fighter, and has power and skill. But he is just so overhyped that it is hard to like him. If he was a monster who stopped GGG and Jacobs and Bivol, the hype would be warranted and I'd love the guy. But he is just kind of there among a group of good fighters over the last decade. But to hear the hype, Canelo is an all timer. No. Just no.

If the rematch is at 168 Bivol is likely drained and Canelo should win.

That fight wasn’t close, he got straight washed in that fight. If he’s going off those scorecards I’m gonna put money on him getting stopped. First time I’ll put a bet on Canelo getting stopped. He fought controlled because he knew he was getting pieced up. Bivol didn’t even show his full range of offense, go back and watch some of his other fights to see what I mean about Canelo messing around and getting stopped. The more aggressive you get with Bivol, the sharper he gets. To beat Bivol, you need finesse and patience.
