It's real simple. We don't see Tommy Fury as a "real boxer".

He's a reality TV guy who's brother is a "real boxer"

Here's Tommy Fury's "illustrious" record - minus the ONE guy who had a decent record.

And these are four-rounders. No that's not a typo, Four of his wins had never won a SINGLE fight.

Jake at least has Anderson Silva, who beat Chavez Jr and arguably tested Jake. Silva is a very tricky defensive fighter. Fury has NOTHING close to that.
Not sure what you are trying to prove to me because I said Tommy was a bum. BUT all of his opponents have been boxers from the same weight division. Silva is retired (or should be) and is from a lower weight division and a different sport than Jake.

If Jake was some genuine good boxer - he would be fighting boxers from his weight division. And he probably wouldn't be fighting Tommy Fury...

Ignore weight classes. Canelo/Kov and Silva/Chavez Jr. debunked that.

        Focus only on opponents.

Tommy Fury has fought nothing but scrubs.

Silva only had one loss - way early in his career - but is otherwise a solid fighter even in advanced age. I'm not sure Tommy gets past Silva, frankly.

        That's my only point.

Tommy Fury - based on who he fought - regardless of weight - sucks. And shouldn't really be counted as a real boxer other than his association to his brother. That's Teddy's point, as is mine: he's fought guys THAT AREN'T EVEN GOOD ENOUGH TO BE CALLED CAB DRIVERS.

If its real simple give me a name of another "Real fighter" that Paul should fight on his level with a name and can make a lot of money other than Tommy.

No. He already beat the guy that beat Chavez Jr. People would hate even if he won. Chavez Jr. Is a nobody now.

Chavez Jr. is still a name and would be light years better than anyone Jake has fought, even Silva, frankly.

Guys fight guys who lost to guys they beat all the time. Fury just did it, Canelo's about to. Why is it only a problem for a prospect trying to build a resume?

So that Chavez "name" is better than a young undefeated fighter thats related to the CURRENT Linear champion of the world and holds the same name in FURY? Come on now. People would not give hi his props for beating Chavez just like the haters aren't going to give him his props if he beats Tommy Fury. When was the last time Chavez even fought??? lets be real here

Nobody knows OR cares who Tommy Fury is.

The vast majority of non-UK people barely know who Tyson Fury is other than "that fat guy who was on WWE singing with Drew McIntyre".

Nearly everyone knows the name "Julio Caesar Chavez" - so at minimum, they see the name, don't pay attention to the "Jr" and buy in just for that. OR, Junior pulls a Broner and swears he's back and ready to fix his career. Sells the fight.

                    Tommy Fury sucks, bro. Period.

Wow your on another level. If you dont know who Tyson Fury is, you cant consider yourself a boxing fan. Youre questioning the linear heavy weight champions relevance, yet youre here with the rest of us reading the article and leaving comments. Doesn't make much sense.

To even pretend that Julio caesar chavez is more relevant than the Fury's right now is nonsense. Seems like people like you will always have a reason to complain about the opponents of someone you dont like. Its an old and played out pattern.

Tommy Fury sucks...ok still a step up from who Jake has been fighting. Chavez jr. is NOT a better option, he lost to the guy Jake just beat.
