I had Vargas winning comfortably. Foster didn't really do anything. The announcers were absolutely crazy. Foster stalked but never threw more than a jab. Vargas initiated everything although Fosters defense was really nice that don't win fight for me.

Funny how just cuz I find a fight boring I seem like a UFC fan. I have converted like 20 people to boxing and have gotten folks who never watched a fight t start getting ringside seats to fights when they hit Houston. Miss me w the BS. People have different tastes. I like to see superb skill too, but I don’t want to watch fights devoid of action. That’s just ME. Doesn’t make me racist. If you are a fan of a different style good for you.

A total robbery. Always robbing the Mexican / Latino boxer. Vargas tried more than the other guy but PBC ( an Afro enclave ) twisted the judges' hands. The announcers were sell outs and liars, specially Abner Mares who even though he is Mexican, is sol to PBC and was against his fellow Mexican.

So you're saying you never found Sweet Pea's fights exciting? We don't need to see blood, eyeballs and teeth on the canvas in order for a fight to be exciting. Every fight can't be Hagler-Hearns.

Btw, I've been watching boxing since 1973. My first live card attended was Holmes vs. Weaver at MSG in 1979. Duran vs. Palomino was on the undercard in a WBC eliminator.

This is the biggest win in Foster 's whole career, and he win's the 130 pound weight class.
In the process he defeat's an undefeated, former two weight division champion, not bad for one night's work.
Now let's see what he does with his newly acquired trinket, does he fight the top guy's, or settle for less than meaningful defenses?

He lost. Just recieved a gift decision due to his race. Couldnīt hurt a guy 2 weight classes below, even though Rey is a champ at 126, started at a lower weight class.

Hit and not be hit is a beautiful thing , the science of boxing
What I do hate , hit and run , which I find is totally not the same thing at all
Hit and see your opponent blatantly miss you but you still in the pocket is beautiful
Foster last night is not a stick and move fighter imo , at all

The term boring does apply to Afro fighters. Sure, Shakur won but still boring. Most boxers defeat boring fighters all the time so whatīs your point???
