I’ve never said Spence is a HoF or ATG boxer. This whole Spence-Crawford argument should not be about demeriting either guy. It’s been about the debacle of their historical unification fight and who is mostly to blame.

Spence’s goal was to unify the division. Traditionally the richest division talent-wise in boxing. And he managed to collect three belts.
So, Spence has 6 fights since winning the first title from an undefeated Brook and then added two.
Porter, Garcia and Ugas are better opponents than Khan, Brook & Avanesyan but we don’t have to split hairs as to the “better resume” between the two.

Spence and Crawford should have found a way to make the fight just like Floyd did with PAC. It would have put an end to all the quibbles we see online.
