Barrios could probably still get some decent fights although it is highly unlikely he gets the belt anytime soon unless the top contenders either retire or move up. That's if he isn't shot though as he got thrashed by Thurman.

Barrios vs Crowley, Barrios vs Avanesyan, Barrios vs Maestre, Barrios vs Butaev and who knows what else, he has options at 147. Whether he wins any of those fights is up in the air. He isn't great but he isn't bad either.

Damn Faust looks kinda like Loma. Loma should hire this guy to pull the switcharoo against Haney.

Barrios is fun to watch and a rugged guy for what that's worth

Can potentially bring similar entertainment that Joselito Lopez did. But nowadays people are just too focused on fighter's losing record over entertainment unlike the UFC. That's unless the fighter had proven himself before.

Main event feels like an OG title fight from the 80s! A rugged contender who clawed his way to the top vs a former champ moving up, lets get it!
