No one becomes an athlete to not make money, and as much of it as they can.
It's extremely rare to find an athlete who takes less money without compensation somewhere down the road.

I saw the same thing but couldn't quite determine why. He just seemed 'flat' but then when he was reminded , he's been there for ten years doing this , which might explain he didn't seem to think that was very long ...strange, almost bored and that interview was with his mate.
