Shannon Briggs' manager at the time (name slipped my mind, Marc Something) had been quoted as saying that "none of my fighters will ever lose in New Jersey." The Foreman-Briggs fight went under investigation but ended up being a cold case.... either way, Briggs was technically the "Linear Heavyweight Champ" sandwiched between Foreman and Lewis
